The Certificate in Health Sciences (CertHSc) at the University of Auckland is designed to provide Māori and Pacific students with the academic and professional foundation needed for further study in health-related undergraduate programmes. The one-year, full-time certificate strengthens science knowledge, develops academic skills, and prepares students for degrees such as Nursing, Health Sciences, and Biomedical Science through a combination of lectures, tutorials, lab sessions, wānanga, and online learning, all set within a culturally safe context.
