What You're Signing Up For

This diploma develops the skills and understanding needed to provide massage and support clients’ wellness. You will study anatomy and physiology, learn therapeutic massage techniques, and gain experience working with clients under supervision. The program is highly regarded and offers eligibility for registration with Massage New Zealand. Graduates can work as massage therapists, in the spa industry, or progress to further study in applied science or rehabilitation/remedial massage.

What you need to know first

NCEA Level 2 with 10 Literacy and 10 Numeracy credits, or relevant NZQF Level 3 qualification or higher, or equivalent.

Special admission available for applicants over 20 without standard entry.

Discretionary admission may be available for applicants under 20 without standard entry.

Health/general abilities declaration required.

Declaration of criminal convictions and consent to a Police Check required (prior convictions are not necessarily disqualifying; assessment may include interview or referee checks).
