Develop advanced knowledge and critical analysis skills applicable to health care delivery in a specific health science discipline.

Gain advanced practice and theoretical perspectives relevant to students' areas of professional focus (nursing, allied health, management or other health professions).

Demonstrate the ability to critically assess and respond to clinical situations using diagnostic reasoning and applied pathophysiology.
The Postgraduate Diploma in Health Science at EIT is designed for qualified nurses, health professionals, and health service managers seeking to develop advanced knowledge and critical analysis skills within nursing or other health science areas. The programme offers online and blended learning pathways, specialty options (including advanced nursing and registered nurse prescribing) and imparts the foundation for further study at Masters level. Study may be undertaken full-time over one year or part-time over up to four years.
