What You're Signing Up For
The NZ Diploma in Wellness and Relaxation Massage (Level 5) equips students with the essential skills and knowledge for a career in wellness and relaxation massage therapy. The programme combines practical massage skills with theoretical learning in human anatomy, stress, nutrition, health, and the professional application of massage. Graduates are able to assess client needs, provide appropriate relaxation massage treatments, and refer clients to allied healthcare professionals when necessary.

What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 or equivalent; or NZQA Level 4 qualification in Massage Therapy; or applicants over 20 with evidence of ability to succeed.
Completion of NZ Police Vetting Service Request and Consent form.
Declaration of good health (no medical, physical, or psychological conditions that would preclude working with vulnerable clients).
Demonstration of English language fluency (IELTS Academic 5.5 with no band below 5.0 or equivalent).
