What You're Signing Up For

The New Zealand Certificate in Horticulture with a strand in Amenity introduces students to amenity plant and garden knowledge and care, plant and soil science, amenity garden tool use and care, weed and plant pest control, and amenity lawn care. The programme is very practical—students put their learning into practice at Hamilton Gardens, assisting a team of professional gardeners. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level roles in the horticultural amenity sector.
