This certificate programme combines campus-based learning in technical areas such as soil science, plant biology, machinery maintenance, construction and surveying, irrigation and drainage, and supervision of staff and financial planning with a paid, practical internship at one of New Zealand’s leading golf or stadium venues. Graduates are well-respected and in high demand, with most being offered full-time employment during their work placements. This is the only full-time Sports Turf programme in New Zealand.
