Perform practical skills in industry setting
Demonstrate practical skills in plant science, soil and water management, and machinery operation in fruit or vine production.

Implement pest and weed management
Apply methods for controlling pests, weeds, and agrichemicals as part of best practice horticultural management.
What You're Signing Up For
This Level 4 certificate enables you to further develop fundamental knowledge and practical skills required for horticulturists working in orchards or vineyards. The programme requires workplace employment in the fruit production or viticulture sector and offers a supported blend of online learning, block courses, and on-the-job practice. With a combination of theoretical and hands-on studies, students will build knowledge in soils, plant science, seasonal tasks, pests management, machinery, and either orchard or viticulture canopy management.
