What you need to know first

A minimum of NCEA Level 2 OR

Successful completion of a Level 3 certificate or above, preferably in Primary Industries OR

For applicants 20 years or older, evidence of relevant knowledge and experience and the ability to undertake tertiary study at diploma level is required (subject to interview).

Applicants whose first language is not English require an IELTS (Academic) score of at least 6.0 or equivalent, issued within the last two years.
