It will take a total of 1 year

Apply health and safety and food hygiene processes and procedures to meet industry standards in baking.

Produce biscuits, bread, cake, or pastry products in accordance with industry standards.

Participate and communicate as a functional team member to produce bakery products.
The New Zealand Certificate in Baking (Level 3) provides practical training in baking breads, doughs, cakes, pastries, and small goods according to industry standards. The program emphasizes teamwork, communication, and food safety. Students complete at least 40 hours of work experience in the baking industry and are prepared for entry-level roles in bakeries or to continue on to cookery or food service pathways.
