The NZ Certificate in Food and Beverage Service (Level 3) at NZSE prepares students for entry-level roles in New Zealand's hospitality industry. Delivered in a lively classroom environment with purpose-built facilities, the programme offers four pathways allowing students to specialise in fields such as café and barista services, functions and buffet services, quick service and restaurant services, or bar service. It includes courses on food safety and professional hospitality communication, with practical work placement hours. The programme supports domestic and international students and includes an interview process to assess suitability.

Recommendation to have NCEA Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy or equivalent
English language competence sufficient for study and assessment in English
