A must for anyone wanting to become a general manager or duty manager of a licensed premises. The LCQ covers unit standards demonstrating knowledge of the Sale and Supply of Alcohol Act (2012), its implications for licensed premises, and host responsibility requirements as a duty manager. Delivery is via online and in-person workshops, enabling flexibility for learners across multiple Northland campuses. This course is required for gaining a General Manager's Certificate for licensed premises in New Zealand.
What you need to know first
Be at least 16 years old at the time the programme commences
Be able to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level
