Develop effective teamwork skills to operate successfully in a commercial bakery setting.

Demonstrate clear communication skills with customers and colleagues within a bakery or café environment.
This NZQA Level 3 programme at EIT introduces students to hands-on baking in a real-world environment. Students gain practical experience in a commercial bakery and a café, develop foundational and advanced bakery skills, learn to work as part of a team, and build industry connections. The timetable allows for concurrent employment in the industry. Graduates are prepared for roles in bakery operations or further study in baking or cookery.

NCEA Level 1 Literacy and Numeracy requirements (automatic acceptance if numbers allow)
Applicants without NCEA may be accepted with an up-to-date CV or personal declaration showing potential to succeed
