Gain knowledge in managing food, beverage, and accommodation operations in hospitality enterprises.

Understand and implement strategic management and human resource practices relevant to hospitality businesses.

Develop competencies in hospitality sales techniques and marketing strategies for the global market.
The Bachelor of International Hospitality Management at AUT equips students with comprehensive knowledge of hospitality industries and prepares them for a wide range of hospitality careers locally and internationally. The degree emphasises practical skills in managing food and beverage, accommodation operations, human resources, and sales/marketing, as well as critical skills in management strategy. In the final year, students undertake workplace experience with an industry organisation. Students can customise their studies with a choice of majors, minors, and elective subjects, including options outside of hospitality. Majors include Hospitality Management. Minors can be chosen from Event Management, Gastronomy, Global Tourism, Restaurant Management, and others.
