What You're Signing Up For

This one-year full-time Level 3 certificate is designed to introduce students to practical and theoretical aspects of farming. Students develop hands-on skills such as driving farm vehicles, livestock handling, fencing, and stock care, alongside foundational knowledge in animal anatomy, plant biology, and soil science. In addition to classroom learning, students spend two days a week on real farms under the supervision of industry experts. Upon completion, you will be prepared for entry-level roles in New Zealand's agricultural sector and gain two NZQA-recognised qualifications.
