What you need to know first
Must be 16 years of age at course commencement
Relevant NQF Level 3 qualification or NCEA Level 2
Expressed interest in sport horse sector
Physical ability to work safely around horses and machinery
Willingness to meet academic and attendance requirements
Evidence of riding ability via video (minimum trot and canter)
English or te reo Māori proficiency (for non-native speakers)
10 NCEA literacy credits at Level 2 or above (5 in reading, 5 in writing) or approved proficiency test
