This course provides an introduction to the application of information technologies in precision agriculture, focusing on monitoring and managing agricultural processes in crops, pastures, and animal systems across different types of farming enterprises. It covers the integration of data, knowledge, and production within precision agriculture systems, the use of sensors, and the selection and limitations of precision agricultural equipment with considerations of environmental impact and workforce implications. Note: The course is currently not being offered and includes on-campus components that cannot be fully completed online.
