What You're Signing Up For

The Farming Workplace Operations programme at Eastern Institute of Technology incorporates NZ Certificates at Level 2 and Level 3 designed to equip students with entry-level skills in primary industry farming operations. The programme provides a broad theoretical understanding of New Zealand pastoral farming systems alongside practical capability in rural workplace tasks, including safe operation and maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and infrastructure. Graduates will be prepared for entry-level roles in the rural primary sector, with knowledge in livestock production, hazard management, technology utilization, and workplace safety.
