What you need to know first

New Zealand Diploma in Environmental Management (Level 5) or equivalent

Special admission may apply for applicants over 20 or those lacking standard prerequisites (case-by-case, subject to approval)

For the diving pathway: National Certificate in Diving (Foundation Skills) (Level 3) or equivalent, including PADI qualifications

First aid certificate (required before end of course for all students; recommended at application)

Doctor's certificate of fitness for diving (if selecting diving electives/pathway)
