What You're Signing Up For

This practical, environmental science course involves field trips and hands-on study of the challenges facing New Zealand’s environment and conservation. Students learn about the biology and ecology of living species and habitats, develop surveying and risk management skills, and gain experience in environmental and ecological reporting. The course supports progression to further study or a career in environmental management and includes elective papers in biosecurity or aquaculture.

Minimum of 42 credits at NCEA Level 3 or equivalent (suggested subjects: English, Mathematics and Biology/Sciences)
