What you need to know first
A minimum of 42 credits at NCEA Level 3 or equivalent (suggested subjects: English, Mathematics, Biology/Sciences) if under 20 years of age.
Special admission may apply for those not meeting academic requirements or applicants aged 20+.
Ability to complete the physical requirements of the course.
If selecting the diving option: must provide a certified doctor's certificate of fitness to dive and enrol in the National Certificate in Diving (Foundation Skills) (Level 3) or equivalent.
