What You're Signing Up For

Offered in partnership with Unitec, this hands-on degree will see you learning about ecosystems, conservation issues, sustainable land, animal, and plant management, and strategies promoting biodiversity and biosecurity. You'll study how ecosystems function, society's influence on biodiversity, and the social, cultural, and policy factors affecting environmental management. The course includes plant identification, government and voluntary agency roles, and major biodiversity challenges. Three qualifications are available in three years, culminating in the Bachelor of Applied Science (Biodiversity Management) from Unitec.
