Advanced Water Resources explores a broad range of topics related to the management of water resources. The course develops comprehensive knowledge and skills for water resource managers, including critical discussion of paradigms, structuring complex problems, understanding objectives, analysing governance and policy, integrated land-water planning, applying ecosystem services frameworks, and understanding legislation and Treaty processes in the New Zealand context. Students will also practice interdisciplinary teamwork and communication.
