What You're Signing Up For

Equip yourself for a role in environmental management with the NZ Diploma in Environmental Management (Terrestrial strand) at EIT. This programme covers sustainability, conservation, environmental sampling, biology, ecology, and monitoring flora and fauna in Aotearoa. Students gain practical knowledge and skills for involvement in community or government-led environmental projects, and are prepared for a variety of roles such as park ranger, environmental consultant, and conservation officer. Graduates can progress to higher-level environmental management or biodiversity programmes.

What you need to know first

Successful completion of a Level 3 certificate (minimum 42 credits at Level 3)

Or successful completion of NZ Certificate in Sustainable Primary Production (Level 4)

Or equivalent qualification

Applicants 20+ without formal academic entry must provide evidence of relevant knowledge/experience and may be interviewed

English language proficiency: NZCEL Level 4 or IELTS Academic overall 5.5 with no band below 5 (or NZQA equivalent)
