Understand and apply safe working practices for electrical work
Able to implement safety protocols to protect self and others before, during, and after prescribed electrical tasks.

Perform safety testing related to electrical work
Conduct safety tests before starting, while undertaking, and after completing electrical work as per EWRB standards.

Recognize and manage electrical hazards
Identify hazards and use correct procedures and PPE to work safely in electrical settings.
What You're Signing Up For
This one-week short course is designed for individuals who have received confirmation from the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB) that their Limited Certificate application has been approved. The course covers mandatory EWRB safety training requirements, including safe working practices, safety testing before and after electrical work, CPR, and basic first aid. Participants must have appropriate PPE and tools. The course meets EWRB prerequisites for the Limited Certificate and is a required component prior to conducting prescribed electrical work.
