Diagnose and repair automotive electrical faults
Learners will be able to inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical and electronic faults across a range of vehicle types.

What you need to know first
Hold a Level 3 qualification in Automotive Engineering or evidence of equivalent skills and knowledge.
Be employed in an automotive engineering workplace operating at industry standard.
Your employer must sign a training agreement with you and Toi Ohomai.
NCEA Level 2 with passes in English/Te Reo Māori or equivalent.
Evidence of ability to complete academic and other programme requirements as per Toi Ohomai regulations.
