What You're Signing Up For
This short, intensive course is aimed at people who need to renew their Electrical Practising Licence with the Electrical Workers Registration Board (EWRB). Designed for those already registered or training in the trade, the course covers electrical safety, testing, and a first aid/CPR refresher. Successful completion is reported to the EWRB, enabling licence renewal. The programme includes both theoretical and practical learning components.
Course Content
- Electrical Safety and Testing (3 hours): practical and theoretical assessment
- First Aid/CPR Refresher (2 hours)
- Overview of current safety standards relevant to electrical work
- Evidence of EWRB e-learning module completion required
- Use of personal testing equipment and real-world safety testing activities
What you need to know first
Must already have an electrical registration, or be a trainee applying for registration.
Completion of the EWRB E-Learning Module prior to attendance (evidence required).
Current First Aid/CPR certificate required only for refresher exemption.
