Comprehensive understanding of disability studies
Critically understand and evaluate concepts, issues, and debates in disability and inclusion studies, especially as they relate to research and practice.

Policy and Advocacy
Apply disability rights frameworks (including the UN Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities) to transform inclusion policy and practice.

Research skills development
Develop and apply advanced research skills within disability and inclusion, including the ability to conduct independent research projects.
What You're Signing Up For
This programme draws on social and critical models of disability to challenge ableism and further identity and rights through inclusion in research, policy, and practice. It is an interdisciplinary degree covering disability and inclusion in the context of education, social sciences and law, with options for flexible study, online or on campus. Students will develop research skills and comprehensive knowledge to become leaders in social change, disability advocacy, policy development, and inclusive practices.

- Option papers in education, policy, leadership, and assessment
