The content is culturally responsive and ideal for those in educational leadership or management roles across early childhood, primary, or secondary sectors.

- Building effective mentoring relationships
- A Māori worldview of mentoring, with principles of Te Tiriti
- Facilitating difficult learning conversations
- Creating SMART goals
- Module 1: Te Pakiaka o te tōtara – Establishing mentor relationships
- Module 2: Te Taitea o te tōtara – Applying Māori mentoring principles and Te Tiriti in mentoring
- Module 3: Te Taikaha o te tōtara – Ako: Listening for Learning skills
- Module 4: Te Taikaha o te tōtara – Wānanga: Types of feedback and educative mentoring approaches
- Module 5: Te Karamatamata o te tōtara – Facilitating learning conversations and professional goal setting
- Assessment via quizzes (15%), forum participation (20%), and final assessment (65%)
