The Postgraduate Certificate in Education at AUT is a short, flexible programme designed for graduates who wish to develop advanced knowledge and critical analysis skills in education. The programme contains two 30-point courses, allowing learners to focus on contemporary issues, leadership, research, digital pedagogies, Māori and Pacific educational approaches, and more. It is suitable for those involved in adult, tertiary, compulsory, early childhood, or non-formal education, and provides a pathway to the Master of Education. This programme is not an initial teacher education qualification and does not lead to teacher registration.
