The Master of Design is an intensive 30-week programme for design professionals seeking to advance their creative careers. Students work with experienced faculty and industry mentors to tailor their study to their unique needs and creative challenges. The programme includes one-on-one mentoring and the development of specialist skills through professional and personal projects. The course structure allows for flexibility in topic focus, preparing graduates as leading professionals in the design and creative technology sectors.
Course Content
- Two 30-credit Level 8 components (non-sequential)
- One 15-credit Level 9 component: Master Project Proposal
- One 45-credit Level 9 component: Master Project
- Individual project-based learning tailored to student's area of design interest
- Professional mentoring and industry engagement
What you need to know first
An NZQF Level 8 Honours degree OR a Postgraduate Diploma OR an undergraduate degree and professional experience in a field relevant to design.
