What You're Signing Up For
The Industrial Design Major at AUT is a three-year bachelor's program focusing on developing practical, creative, and solution-driven designers ready for the evolving industrial and product design profession. Students engage in hands-on design studio projects, work with industry partners, and access world-class technologies and workshops. The curriculum emphasizes design practice, design thinking, manufacturing technologies, digital modeling, prototyping, and human-centred design, culminating in a public exhibition of work.
