Build Professional Production Skills
Develop a toolbox of essential skills in film and television production, including production management, directing, and working within a crew.

Specialize in a Chosen Field
Complete specialist training in one of the following fields: Production Management, Directing & Screenwriting, Documentary Directing, Camera/Lighting/Audio, or Post Production.

Participate in Real-World Productions

What You're Signing Up For
The Diploma in Film and TV Production at Yoobee is a practical, project-based program where students participate in more than 20 productions over one year. You'll develop professional know-how in working with crews on set, gain expertise in specialist fields such as production management, directing, screenwriting, documentary, cinematography, audio, lighting, and post-production. Delivered by experienced industry professionals, the course culminates in the New Zealand Diploma in Screen Production (Level 6).

What you need to know first
Completion of Diploma in Screen Production Level 5 OR portfolio demonstrating equivalent skills and knowledge
Basic computer skills required
Domestic applicants: Minimum age 17, completed application form, written requirements, formal interview, and portfolio
International applicants: Minimum age 18, English proficiency equivalent to IELTS Academic 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5) within the last 2 years
