This 2-day practical course at MAINZ Christchurch provides a foundational introduction to Logic Pro X. Students will learn how to set up and navigate the digital audio workstation, record and edit MIDI and audio tracks, use virtual instruments and loops, and understand core recording techniques and equipment selection. The course is aimed at beginners or those new to digital music production.

What you need to know first

Must be a New Zealand resident or citizen (for domestic/ACE funding eligibility)

Not studying full-time

Over 16 years of age

IELTS 5.5 (no band below 5.0) or equivalent if English is not your first language
