The Digital Photography Training Scheme at NMIT is a Level 5 certificate course delivered fully online over approximately 15 teaching weeks plus a study break. Designed for beginners or those looking to upskill, it teaches how to use digital devices for various photography types including portrait, product, still life, landscape, and more. The course covers camera manual modes, lighting, studio setup, post-production, and professional practices like pricing and copyright. Students develop creative and technical photography skills through a project-by-project structure, gaining fundamental knowledge for careers or hobbies in photography and related creative industries.
