What You're Signing Up For
This diploma provides the theoretical and practical foundation for a career in quantity surveying, covering contract administration, building technology, construction law, measurement, estimation, and financial management. Graduates can work under supervision in a range of construction industry roles, particularly as a Quantity Surveyor, or pursue further study such as a Bachelor of Construction. The programme offers small class sizes, flexible delivery, and support for students at all levels, from school leavers to those already working in the industry.

What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 including mathematics and NCEA Level 1 including literacy; OR
A relevant qualification at NZQF Level 4 or above; OR
A recognised equivalent qualification
International students: Academic IELTS 6.0 (no band lower than 5.5) or equivalent
Special admission: Age 20+ with preparatory support possible
Discretionary admission: Under 20, assessed on preparedness for programme
