What You're Signing Up For

Produce your own furniture or joinery items using SIT equipment under qualified supervision. Materials are supplied by attendees. Entry requires prior completion of a woodworking machinery course or a furniture-making/joinery trade qualification. Night class held on campus in Invercargill.

  • Safe and supervised use of woodworking machinery and related equipment
  • Manufacture timber or wood-based products of your own choice
  • Work planning and execution in a joinery workshop environment
  • Guidance from qualified tradesperson/instructor
