What You're Signing Up For

This course is designed for secondary school students interested in building and construction. Through the OSTC Building and Construction (Level 2) programme, students develop practical, hands-on skills such as planning projects, operating hand and power tools, constructing furniture and basic structures, and practising safe work methods. Graduates receive the New Zealand Certificate in Building, Construction and Allied Trades (Level 2) and 40 NCEA Level 2 credits. The course provides a pathway into further study or entry-level work in trades such as carpentry, stonemasonry, or construction management.
