What You're Signing Up For

This programme equips you with core competencies required to lead in the construction industry in a Quantity Surveyor role. You will learn about construction documentation, statutory and regulatory frameworks, resource management, materials selection, structural principles, contract administration, tendering, and teamwork in construction environments. The programme is supported by both online and local learning components, offering access to workshops and campus facilities.

What you need to know first

Be at least 16 years old at the time the programme commences.

Ability to read, write, and communicate in English at a basic level.

Physically able to complete the programme specific outcomes.

Hold 50 NCEA credits at Level 2 including 12 credits in mathematics (excluding statistics) and at least 12 literacy credits at NCEA Level 1.

For applicants whose first language is not English: IELTS score of 6 (no band lower than 5.5) or an accepted international equivalence.
