What You're Signing Up For

This programme is designed for experienced fencers moving into supervisory or contracting roles. Students will develop skills to design and build fences, interpret and construct livestock yard designs, and lead teams while managing client relationships. The qualification targets those in a rural fencing enterprise responsible for delivering client projects to specification.

What you need to know first

At least 16 years old at programme commencement

At least two years’ industry experience in fencing

Basic English skills (read, write, communicate in English at a basic level)

IELTS 5.5 (no band score lower than 5), or equivalent (for non-native English speakers)

Physical ability to complete programme outcomes

Recommended: New Zealand Certificate in Fencing (Level 3)
