What You're Signing Up For

This is a 12-week full-time programme designed to introduce learners to foundational skills and knowledge relevant to various trade occupations within the building and construction industry. The course covers health and safety procedures, measurements, basic hand tool use, project work in a workshop context, and prepares learners for further study or entry-level employment in the sector.

  • Completion of two BCATS projects in a workshop

What you need to know first

Domestic learners aged 16 and over.

Applicants will be interviewed to consider application for enrolment.

Sufficient competence in English language to undertake study (assessed by provider).
