What You're Signing Up For
The Bachelor of Construction (Level 7) at Future Skills prepares students for in-demand roles in the booming building industry. Delivered in Auckland, this hands-on degree equips you with technical and business skills in construction law, management, contract administration, cost estimating, and project planning. You will gain work-ready abilities to price and manage construction projects, and develop an understanding of the relationship between construction and the Treaty of Waitangi. The programme is tailored for both domestic and international students and offers flexible full- or part-time study options. Graduates are eligible for professional body membership and can pursue a range of senior roles in the construction sector.

What you need to know first
Under 20: NCEA Level 3 including 14 credits at Level 3 or above in 3 NZQA-approved university entrance subjects, Literacy (10 credits at Level 2 or above), Numeracy (12 credits at Level 2 or above)
Alternative criteria for those over 20: Evidence of industry experience and/or alternative relevant qualifications
English language: NZ University Entrance or IELTS 6.0 (no band below 5.5), or other NZQA-accepted alternatives
International: Equivalent entry requirements; not available to students under 18
