What you need to know first
Must be employed full time by a builder and offered an apprenticeship
Direct from school with at least 3 years attendance and NCEA Level 1 English and Maths
Direct from workforce with employer recommendation
Completion of Carpentry Pre-Apprenticeship course
Previously completed relevant unit standards towards NZ Certificate in Carpentry (Level 4)
