What you need to know first
NCEA Level 3: 60 credits at Level 3 (or above) and 20 credits at Level 2 (or above), including 14 credits at Level 3 in three approved subjects, UE Literacy (10 credits at Level 2 or above with 5 in reading, 5 in writing), and UE Numeracy (10 credits at Level 1 or above); or
72 credits at NCEA Level 2 (minimum of 14 credits in each of four subjects), plus UE Literacy and UE Numeracy; or
A relevant qualification at Level 3 on the NZQF or above including UE Literacy and Numeracy; or
The New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology (Level 5); or
The New Zealand Diploma in Information Technology Technical Support (Level 5); or
Equivalent qualifications
Special admission: 20+ years with evidence of skills or experience
Provisional entry (under 20s not meeting criteria, at institution’s discretion)
English language: IELTS 6.0 (no band <5.5) or equivalent
