Specialisation options include Network Engineering and Security or Software and Web Development. The programme incorporates a final IT project featuring an industry placement and prepares graduates for global IT certifications. The degree is accredited and recognised internationally, providing pathways to further postgraduate study.

What you need to know first
Turn 17 within first year of study
NCEA Level 3 or above and 20 credits at Level 2, including 14 credits each in three approved subjects, UE Literacy (10 credits at Level 2; 5 in reading, 5 in writing), and UE Numeracy (10 credits at Level 1)
Relevant Level 3 or above qualification with UE Literacy and Numeracy
New Zealand Certificate in Information Technology Essentials (Level 4)
