What You're Signing Up For
The New Zealand Diploma in Surveying (Level 6) provides students with the skills and knowledge needed to work as a land surveyor, including measuring and mapping land for engineering and construction projects. The programme is suitable for those already working in the industry wishing to formalise or upskill and supports flexible learning to accommodate work commitments. Graduates can pursue a variety of roles within the land surveying profession.

What you need to know first
NCEA Level 2 with at least 48 credits across four subjects, including a minimum of 12 credits in Mathematics (preferably in algebra, geometry and trigonometry)
8 credits at NCEA Level 2 in English (4 in reading, 4 in writing) or equivalent
For Flexi-Learn option, current employment in the land surveying industry at enrolment
Domestic applicants aged 20+ without formal entry may be considered under special admission, based on skills or experience
