What you need to know first

NCEA Level 2 with 48 credits in four subjects, including a minimum of 12 credits in Mathematics (preferably algebra, geometry, trigonometry) or equivalent

8 credits at NCEA Level 2 in English (4 in reading, 4 in writing)
