What You're Signing Up For
The Graduate Diploma in Operations and Production Management at Wintec is a one-year full-time or part-time programme at NZQA Level 7. It is aimed at students with a degree in another subject who want to enter operations management. The programme covers five compulsory modules related to operations and production management including operations and project management, product development, and resource management. The final Professional Project module includes a work placement and research component, allowing students to apply their knowledge in a real-world business setting and build networks for employment opportunities. The diploma is offered at the Hamilton City Campus and is available to international students. Entry requirements include prior degree qualifications or equivalent work experience. There are no electives in the core programme, but a specified elective can be chosen from business-related modules.
