Students develop core coaching competencies, explore the role of coaching in modern organizations, and study ethics, tools, techniques, and the construction of effective client relationships. The programme is designed for professionals such as teachers, consultants, HR practitioners, social support workers, and managers seeking to apply professional coaching in business or community contexts. Delivered entirely via distance learning, students participate in both theoretical and practical applied learning experiences.

Course Content

  • MGT725 Role of Professional Coaching: Origins and professional context, core coaching competencies, outcomes, benefits, professional standards, and ethics.
  • MGT726 Professional Coaching Relationships and Environment: Building relationships, environment/context of coaching, project-based applications, psychological contracts.
  • MGT727 Professional Coaching Tools: Tools and techniques for coaching, portfolio development, business vision and strategy.
  • Elective: MGT627 Life and Career Coaching OR MGT628 Executive and SME Coaching. Topics include career coaching, career counselling, executive coaching, SME business development, transactional and transformational coaching models.

Bachelor's degree in any discipline OR at least three years of relevant work experience (CV required for mature applicants).
