What You're Signing Up For

This diploma provides foundational knowledge and skills in project management applicable to business and community organisations. Graduates will be equipped to manage projects from start to finish using knowledge, tools, and techniques, as well as engage effectively with stakeholders throughout the project life cycle. The qualification also covers broad business knowledge including operations, accounting, marketing/sales, human resources, risk management, innovation, and organisational change. It includes an understanding of te Tiriti o Waitangi's application in business contexts and professional ethical practices. The programme consists of compulsory courses in business contexts and a project management strand with courses on principles, methodologies, tools, and applied project management. Completion offers a pathway into the second year of a Bachelor of Applied Management.

What you need to know first

Be at least 16 years old at programme start

Basic English literacy and communication skills

Physical ability to complete programme outcomes
