What You're Signing Up For

Subject to NZQA approval, the New Zealand Diploma in Business (Administration and Technology) (Level 5) equips students with skills and knowledge in business administration, operations, and technology. The programme provides a broad understanding of operational impact analysis, business functions including accounting, marketing, human resources and risk management, and supports innovation and organisational change. It also covers ethical practices, te Tiriti o Waitangi applications in business, and managing business technologies. Completion provides a pathway to the second year of the Bachelor of Applied Management.

What you need to know first

At least 16 years old at programme start

Basic English literacy and communication skills

IELTS 5.5 with no band below 5.0 for non-native English speakers

NCEA Level 2 or equivalent (8 Level 2 Literacy credits, 14 Level 1 Numeracy credits) or approved Level 3 qualification
