What You're Signing Up For

The Graduate Diploma in Business at AUT is designed for students with an existing bachelor’s degree in a non-business field who want to gain foundational business skills and knowledge in preparation for further postgraduate studies or for entry into business careers. Students can tailor their studies by selecting from a variety of business courses and may choose to either generalise across business subjects or specialise by focusing on a specific discipline within business.

Course Content

  • Business concepts across various disciplines
  • Choice of eight 15-point business courses (most from Bachelor of Business offerings)
  • Option to specialise in a specific business subject by taking at least five level 7 courses in that area
  • Preparation for postgraduate study in business and economics
